EXCHANGE/MOVEMENT OF IDEAS AND PEOPLE
The Program supports the "exchange of ideas through
the movement of people", creating conditions for a "marketplace of
ideas" around which civil society actors collaborate with a
long-term perspective to realize an open society agenda.

LOCAL HUMAN RESOURCES and LOCALLY-DETERMINED
CONTENT
The Program network of 23 people in foundations and
5 in institutional partners is unique as a resource and methodology
of support to civil society and non-governmental actors. Content of
exchanges supported in the Program is determined by civil society
and non-governmental actors on-the-ground.

Peer review and evaluation among East East:
Partnership Beyond Borders Program Coordinators is fundamental to
the Program. No unilateral decisions are possible in the Program.
